I love splash pads. They’re safe if your little one isn’t yet swimming; they’re open pretty much all day and into the evening; they don’t require any municipal staff; you can come and go as you please; and they’re FREE!
We’ve visited ALL of the ones on this list (and all of them in the SPLASH PADS section on the website).
These are our current favourites and each one is right beside, or near a playground. You’ll find the park and splash pad description, a full size picture gallery, and VIDEO for each one of our favourites listed below.
And as always, as we visit more this list will probably change!

(This list is in no particular order)

du Père-Marquette Park-ROSEMONT – LA-PETITE-PATRIE
Absolutely beautiful. This huge nature-themed splash pad has different zones for various ages, picnic tables and lounge chairs right beside the water. A must-visit this summer.
Sadly, no video! But we will be revisiting soon to redo the pictures and I’ll try then.

Valois Park-POINTE-CLAIRE
OMG. The Superwave is simply amazing. There’s always a crowd of kids (and adults!) underneath waiting for it to tip. The ship’s wheel is a toddler favourite, and there are other not-too-intense water features for little ones.
Bonus: The bathroom and changing rooms are actually unlocked when they’re supposed to be!
p.s. More picnic tables and a large shade structure have been added since I took photos.

This park is sooooo tiny, and while the toddler playground is ok, the splash pad is FANTASTIC. It’s quite amazing how much stuff they fit into this space. And it doesn’t feel crowded. LOVED the nautical theme with the steering wheel, boat, and palm trees 🙂
