Alexander Park

This was a GREAT neighbourhood playground. I loved that everything was all together so the big one and little one could play while I kept an eye on both.
The larger climber by GameTime has some ground level activities (bongos!) and there is a platform where the smaller one could stand to use the telescope. There are some super creative climbing rings and monkey…rings(?) to scale. In this section are the baby and big swings (lots), a stand up seesaw, and a Tilted Sky-Runner.

The toddler climber by Quebec’s Jambette was also well designed with stairs and a ladder, multiple slides, room to walk around and a steering wheel. Both play structures were shiny and new.

We visited in mid-September and the trees bordering the park were just turning brilliant shades of orange and yellow, and the park felt quiet and relaxed.

Things to note:
–This park has a chalet with a wheelchair ramp. (The opening hours are in the picture gallery.
-Other activities you’ll find here are tennis, soccer, baseball, winter sledding, a batting cage, and new in 2018 is a REALLY nice basketball court with bleachers, and two small single courts. Are they called “single courts?” I have no idea, but that sounds about right!
-I parked on the corner of Elmwood and Cedar and took the tiny path up to the playground. There is also a parking lot on Oakwood near the pool or just off Jacques-Bizard.
