Audubon Park

I wasn’t sure if this was going to be a greenspace or a park, as it looked pretty tiny on Google Maps. We were pleasantly surprised when we came down Rue Audubon, and saw this cute playground.
It is surrounded by houses and while not fully fenced, the two surrounding streets are very quiet. (You can access it from Rue Audubon OR Rue de Paris).

Everything is on a sand base with two sections. One section has just the adorable and toddler-friendly double ride-on Buzzy the Bumblebee, which also served as a motorcycle 😉

The other section has a large toddler climber from Landscape Structures with stairs, ladder, slides, the driver panel with steering wheel, and an easy to cross bridge.
There is also the Alice in Wonderland inspired Calvin the Caterpillar to climb. It was fun to look at all the different shoes he wears as well as “count” the ladybugs on his back.
Rounding out the park are a spinny seat, and baby and big swings.
We were there on our own for a bit, and then a group of about 12 toddlers from a nearby daycare came, which thrilled my little guy.

***There is some shade around the south side of the park, but not on the actual playground, and while there are benches, there are no picnic tables.
BONUS! There is a drive-thru Tim Horton’s around the corner on Spring Garden 🙂
