This was an interesting park. Actually, scratch that. It was a pretty park.
We played in the playground (obviously) but better enjoyed the meandering stream, pools of water, and the waterfall.
We were the only ones there when we visited, but there are some day camps nearby, and judging by how packed down the wood chips are, there’s probably a lot of kids here usually.
The play areas are fully fenced and gated, but with quite a few entrances. Both the older kids and the toddler sections are in the same area, with the latter on sand.
Both my boys trotted off to their respective sides and I could easily see both of them while standing in the middle. “Watch me!, watch MEEE!”
The big-kid climber from GameTime has all sorts of ladders and rungs, a volcano rock wall, a tall twirly slide, and a cute “squirrel” log roller. The toddler structure is the smaller version and has stairs, three slides, and little seats at ground level. There are also baby and big swings.
Within the fencing and next to the play areas are big and toddler picnic tables as well as a water fountain.
NEW in July 2018: a splash pad! See the updated photo gallery for pictures. This lovely new splash pad with products from Waterplay features the colourful Solis globes spouting water, the toddler-favourite Fun-Brella with its sheet of water to crawl under, the cute and gentle Spinny Squirt, ground sprays, and tall Helices to run under. Touch the sensors (there are two) to turn on the water sequence.
The water area is mostly fenced, with benches ringing the edge.

We went out through one of the gates and stared, and stared at the waterfall (why is water so mesmerizing?), and followed the stream for a bit.
Things to note:
-I couldn’t find any info on the borough’s website about the splash pad hours, but when I messaged them I was told the water is on from 9am to 8:30pm daily.
-This park also has soccer, terrain de pétanque, and skating rinks and a sledding hill in the winter. You can read HERE about sledding and other activities available at the park, as well as opening hours for the chalet in summer and winter.
-The playground is closest to Avenue Stuart, and we were able to easily get street parking, and skip right up to the playground gate.
