Château-Kirkland

Edit 2023: This park has been renovated (hooray!), but I have yet to visit. Stay tuned….

MY EYES!
My God, this park’s lime green and purple colour scheme was….vibrant. I’m just glad I’m not a neighbour.
After our initial shock at the brightness wore off, we enjoyed this little park. Until the sun scorched us and we had to leave.
There is zero shade, unless you count the bizarre circus-roof contraption over a couple of benches.

There is an older toddler climber and just a couple of feet away is the big-kid climber, a couple of old-school metal spring riders (a duck and bunny), and two big and two baby swings.

The toddler climber has nice steps, a long tunnel, a “phone”, and a couple of slides.
The big-kid climber has no stairs, but I hoisted up the shortest one so he could get through the tunnel, and up the steps to the tunnel slide.
There are lots of ladders and corkscrew climbers and a couple more slides.

NOTE: this park does NOT show up on Google Maps for some reason, and Kirkland’s “address” for this park is just Château-Kirkland. So if you’re looking for it, it’s on the corner of Rue du Château-Kirkland and Rue Harding.
Also, it is fenced but with open gates.
