de Cherbourg Park (Candiac)

Recently renovated, Cherbourg Park contains Trekfit exercise stations,  bicycle and walking paths, a picnic area, play structures for preschool and school-aged children, and a dog park.

The playground(s) are all in one giant spot, so it’s great if you have kids of varying ages.
Older ones can play on the modern Kompan climber, while toddlers climb up and down the fun and colourful house/truck combo, ride on a spring rider or the seesaw, or putter around in the ground level car which has lots to touch and turn.
There are also two adult and two baby swings, as well as benches and picnic tables nearby. It is not fenced.

You’ll also find a Cyclohalt bicycle repair station located near the chalet (with bathrooms!), which has eight essential tools and a tire inflator.

In winter, the park offers a small sledding hill, a large ice ring, as well as an outdoor gas fireplace.
So cozy!

Things to note:
-The playground is hot and all on sand.
-The bathrooms had no posted hours, and were locked when we visited.
-Cross the bridge that goes over Highway 15 and you’ll be at Parc Haendel.
