de Louisbourg Park

Hmmmm, some pretty nice equipment for both toddlers and older kids, but also quite a bit of broken items (swings and the little Kompan rope climber), as well as SO MUCH TRASH everywhere.
Maybe it was just dirty because it’s the beginning of the season? I’ll give it the benefit of the doubt. But I had to keep saying “Don’t touch that. No, don’t touch that either!”

Fenced by the road, the playground has a nice Kompan play structure with easy to climb stairs, mini climbing wall, rope wall, and ground level activities. There are also a couple of spring riders and seesaws in the surrounding sand.
Nearby are baby swings as well as big-kid swings.
On wood chips are a stand-up spinner, Kompan metal and rope climbers, and old-school monkey bars.
The benches and picnic tables around the park are newish and clean, and when we had a need for the bathroom, we were VERY happy to see that they were open!
There are no posted opening hours on the (really nicely painted) chalet, but we were there mid-morning on a weekday and they were open. There are also drinking fountains inside the chalet as well as outside.

Note: There’s pretty good street parking around the park 🙂

This is our neighbourhood park, and we confirm that unfortunately it is always FULL OF TRASH… really not the best with a toddler. We are glad we discovered your blog because we needed other options.
