des Tilleuls Park

A curious park as there is just the splash pad here. If you want a playground, you have to travel exactly 140 metres (thanks Google!) down the road to Parc Marier (review to come just as soon as I write it).

It’s pretty stark. Some benches, a porta-pottie, and the splash pad. If I  lived on this street I’d be all over this every day, but I wouldn’t drive here just to play in the water. Partly because there is NO shade, and no fencing of any sort.

The water features from Montreal-based Vortex are fun, we like the little trio of flowers that spray water out their tops, there are some jets out of the ground, and the spinning flowers and Flower N°2 are both pretty and exciting. Kudos for painting the concrete in the colourful geometric pattern rather than just leaving it plain.

If you’re in the area and hot, stop by.

-The splash pad is on from 9am-8pm daily. Press the sensors to turn on the water.
