Devin Park

I think we enjoyed the trees more than the actual park equipment.
Or maybe it was the rolling hills or the shade. This is a realllly pretty park, that just needs a little updating. I think Westmount bought the equipment for all their parks at the same time, because they all have these wooden play structures that are just a bit….dated.

Anyways, this park was ok. The toddler quite liked the ground level house-thing with its tic-tac-toe animals and window. He basically ignored the wooden climber, but there are ladders and steep stairs to climb, and a double slide.
Run up the hill a bit and there are some cute spring riders, a dinosaur to ride, and adult swings.
Up a little more and there’s another play structure with easy-to-climb stairs, a finger maze, and working(!) gears to turn.
Near the entrance to the tennis court are the baby swings.

We weeded the memorial plaque placed at the base of a tree (only a child, 🙁 ), grabbed a drink at the fountain, and toddled off to another park.
