If your kids like sliding, they’ll love the choices at this park!
The little climber has three different kinds, including a twily slide for those daring toddlers. Stairs ensure an easy way up, and there are crawl tunnels to wander through. In the sand are a bunch of spring riders and a seated spinner.
The nearby structure for older kids has an awesome talllll twirly slide and lots to climb including a challenging “rock” wall. There’s also a spinner nearby and baby and adult swings.
Toddle down the path to the small but cute splash pad that has a surprisingly good emount of equipment including a tipping bucket, misting palm fronds, and a water cannon.
I think there are tennis courts at the end of the park but I honestly didn’t feel like walking over.
The Carl Schurz Park Volunteer Gardeners are an adult group that meets monthly to work in the park. Students or children who wish to participate must be accompanied by adults or parents who work along with them.
