Dufferin Park

This is a cute little playground located just a couple of short blocks from the Dollar Cinema and Decarie Square Mall.
Partly fenced, there are two sections (for toddlers and big kids) as well as some colourful new-ish benches and a cheery red picnic table.

My guys always love bridges (as do I!) and the rope bridge from the cable climber to the high slide was a hit. They can also scale the tricky ladder, or try out the adult swings. I like how the swings are placed at different heights, and in 2016 the city added in our favourite swing: the amazing GameTime Expression parent/child swing. This area is on wood chips.

Just past the cute metal benches is the small, older toddler structure. Though it’s a bit faded it’s in good shape and has stairs, a small climbing wall, slides, and ground-level peekaboo windows. Right beside in the sand are two baby swings.

Things to note:
-The park is partially fenced, though there is none near the toddler climber and the cul-de-sac at the end of Dufferin Street.
-Street parking is available near the park but watch the signs.
-The play areas were mostly sunny around noon, but there is great shade just steps away.
