Grier Park – Part 2

Grier Park in Pierrefonds is so big, it’s got two separate playgrounds! You can read about the large, accessible, and inclusive playground (one of very few on the island) in THIS POST (Grier Park). The larger playground is near the swimming pool and splash pad, while this smaller one is at the western end of the park near the dog run and sledding hill.

This little playground is geared primarily towards toddlers and has some very cute GameTime products. We loved the ground-level bongos, and the low-to-the-ground platforms to get up to the slides. Little people can try out the small climbing wall, easy to climb onto seesaw, or swing from one of the four baby swings (there are no adult swings here).
Everything is on sand, and while it’s back from the road, there’s no fencing.

We wandered down some of the paths, climbed to the top of the sledding hill, and peaked at the baseball, tennis, and basketball courts. This is a nice park if you want to spend a while and have a little stroll, with a playground to visit at either end. The danger is you’ll have trouble getting them to leave!

Street parking is available on Rue Foster, d’Amalfi, or Turpin.
