Named for Henri Dunant, the founder of the Red Cross and the first recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize, this park has a playground which is good for various ages, and a lovely treed/grassy area.
We visited in early fall and there was nice shade over the play area, as well as great shady spots if you want to picnic.
All together in one sand area, all the products are by Kompan and include the Navigator “boat” and Supernova spinner, a trio of spring riders, and a large play structure. What I like about this particular model is that younger kids can climb the easy stairs up to the tall slide, while older kids can scale up the rock wall or climb across the ropes to access the bigger slide.
Just beside are four big-kid and four baby swings.
Things to note:
-The park as a whole is fenced, but there are no gates.
-The playground is all on sand.
-The monument to Henri-Dunant was sadly full of weeds and needs some TLC 🙁
-Parking was available right in front of the playground, just read the signs.
