This brand new playground, completed in October of 2018, has been completely refurbished and is just so cute and kid-friendly (surprisingly, not all playground are!), that it’s going right into our “Favourites for Toddlers” list.
With new organic Robinia wood play modules, two intergenerational Expression Swings, a sandbox, wood spring riders, a saucer swing, and a way-too-cute table, the fully fenced and gated playground is safe, interesting, and completely different from other parks nearby.
Little ones will like the clubhouse feel of the two play structures, and might get into a serious game of restaurant, or knights, or “don’t come in here it’s just for kids!”
With easy-to-climb stairs, windows to peer out of, and little benches inside, the natural-inspired Robinia reminds me of fairy tales and magical stories.
Let the kids loose and see where their imagination takes them!
You’ll also find a tall spinner, the two wood spring riders, a beautifully carved parrot guarding the sandbox, and two adult swings.
Things to note:
–This park is located between boulevard Saint-Joseph and Place Henri-Valade (see map below).
-The playground is fully fenced and gated.
–The playground surface is artificial turf and is accessible to wheelchairs or mobility aids.
-There is some shade around the edges of the play areas.
-A drinking fountain within the fencing means that you can stay here all day!
