Ken Lee Park

Another update: This park is scheduled to receive some new products in 2019. I’m just going to completely redo this post and the pictures once the work is done.

This isn’t the loveliest location for a park.  It is amazingly loud with the roar of the highway, the buses going by on the service road, the trains, and the planes going overhead (and not in a cool plane-spotting way).

There is an older climber from Landscape Structures, but the slides have been set on fire and while gear panel works, for some reason, the wheel to TURN the gears is on the WRONG SIDE of the wall. So I had to hang over the edge and reach down to turn it. What the….? UPDATE: The whole thing has been removed! But it doesn’t look like anything is going to be installed to replace it.

There are also big and baby swings (all of which were fine), a sandbox, an ATV spring rider, (which the little one enjoyed and was this park’s saving grace), and a new-in-2015 slide with tricky steps.
