UPDATE July 2018: There is currently a “call for tenders” for the replacement of the play equipment at this park.
TMR has SUCH beautiful trees.
And the playgrounds are ok.
This particular park has a lovely grassed area, towering mature trees, and a ho-hum playground.
Not that there’s anything all that WRONG with the play structure, just that they’re all basically the same throughout the town. And old.
Kids of varying ages will be able to play here as there are stairs, a cute steering wheel panel, and ground level panels for the littlest ones. While older kids can go through the crawl tunnel, up the ladders, and back down the twirly slide.
In the surrounding sand is the always popular Chubby Flyer plane, a two-kid dinosaur spring rider, and a toucan spring rider.
There are also four adult and two baby swings.
The benches and picnic table could use some TLC.
Things to note:
-There is lots of street parking around, just read the signs.
-No fencing, but the playground is towards the middle of the park.
-The playground was is almost full sun when we were there mid-morning, but there are tons of trees around for shade.
