Kinsmen Park

Mom? Let’s play that game where we don’t know each other!
My name will be Lematobe and I’m eight years old.
You have a baby with you *points to brother*
And I live across the street and then we played together.

Ok then.
And so began a bizarre playdate with my “baby”, and my son who I wasn’t supposed to know.

This park has shade! We visited around 10am and both parks were nicely covered. I think after lunch the toddler section might have some sun, though there are mature trees almost all around.
The big-kid park is on a cedar-chip base and has a nice climber from GameTime that has a Cosmix Climber wall, slide, Sky Wheels, and the (scary to me) Fat Pipe Climber (also known as stairs-through-the-air). There’s also a large spiderweb rope climber, and big-kid swings.  And now that we know what it is, we jumped and jumped and jumped on the round trampoline. And then did running starts from the other side of the park and BOUNCED!

Like almost all the other Pointe Claire parks, the toddler section is fully-fenced and gated and is nice and secure. The climber by Jambette is small with just a ladder to get up, and then a double slide down. There are big AND baby swings on this side, a Saddle Spinner seat “Helllllllp meeeeee sttttttop spinning mama!”, a sand shovel, a triceratops spring-rider, and a…small bench thing.
We were the only ones here and went back and forth and back and forth between the two parks. Then we looked at flowers, ran through the soccer field, saw a dead cicada on a tree and skinned some knees on the path.
Loved it for the shade and will be back!
