Lacroix Park

EDITED September 2015: All of the sand has been replaced with wood chips. Yeah!

Our quest to finish all the Kirkland parks is alllllmost over.
This is an OK after dinner neighbourhood park and connects to the Kirkland walking trail that travels east-west.

Both toddler and big-kid climber are decent but nothing amazeballs
The toddler climber has metal stairs, a long tunnel that I dared not try and enter, a few slides, some metal ladders, and a giant pretend phone “That’s how big cell phones used to be kids!”

The large climber has just two metal ladders to get up to the twirly slide, straight slides and the monkey bars. And while the toddler climber is in full sun, this one was in deep, dark shade.

The rest of the park is baby and big swings and an older metal ride-on horse (with some kind of weird blue…something spilled on it). Edited! As of Fall 2016 there are TWO new dinosaur spring riders. Pictures in the gallery!

The park is fully fenced but not gated and there are some benches around the edges. All the equipment is very close together.

And…the end.
