Louis-Marie-Gagnon Park

This is a pretty great little neighbourhood park. Despite the small size there’s quite a bit of equipment for both older kids and toddlers, trees for (some) shade, a picnic table, and even a drinking fountain. A fountain that worked! We were all like “No way!”

Fully fenced AND gated, the playground (on the corner of Airlie and des Oblats) has both wood chips and sand, and all the bright equipment is by Quebec company Jambette.
The play structure for older kids has lots of things to climb and cross, as well as some stand or sit spinners in the sand.
For toddlers, they can wander through the ground-level tunnel thing, play tic-tac-toe, sit in one of two spring riders, or climb the stairs and zip back down the slides of the play structure. Or, there are the ever exciting big boulders to jump from 😉

This isn’t a destination park by any means, but it does make a damn good little neighbourhood park.
p.s. There are NO swings here.

**Apologies for the crap pictures. My camera ran out of batteries so I used my cell phone. Which either takes great pictures, or gets in a snit and takes crappy ones.
