Lunan Park (Brossard)

After a ridiculously early morning at the new Brossard Planchodrome (skatepark), we headed to this park that I’ve driven past a couple of times, but never had the chance to visit.

If you’re shopping at Quartier DIX30, and the kids have just had it, pop over here afterwards for some playing, and cool off in the lovely big splash pad.

There’s not much shade here except for the colourful roof near the edge of the water, and both the toddler area and big-kid section are full sun.

The beautiful splash pad by Waterplay is right in the middle of the action, and note that there are two sensors to turn on the water sequence: One for the main section with its misting grass stems, spraying butterfly, and lots of ground jets. And the second is near the area that is more geared towards toddlers with the super cute stone sprayer, and smaller-scale sprays.

Both play areas have Kompan products, with a cute climber, seesaw, and baby swings.

The other section has a tall slide with a great staircase, adult swings, and a rope climber.

The park also has a grassy area where you can let the kids loose and a newish chalet with bathroom (that were unlocked, hooray!)

Things to note:
-Street parking is available right in front.
-The park is not fenced all along the road.
-The water for the splash pad is on from 8am-9pm.
