The little one and I had a nice relaxing morning at this fully fenced and gated park.
Named for former councillor and current mayor Mitchell Brownstein, this park has quite a bit of equipment for kids of all ages. My guy loved the rope/cable climber, and the ground-level house/store/drum combo.
“Mommy! Would you like to buy a coffee from me?”
Nearby are a couple of spring riders, a stand-alone tall twirly slide (with stairs), an older and slightly splintery seesaw (the new models are made with plastic), and a stand-up bouncer.
If you’ve got a few kids with you everything is in the same area with great sight lines, so he played while I wandered around and took pictures of the larger climber with its climbing wall, slide, monkey bars and corkscrew ladder. There are also two baby and two adult swings.
Within the playground are benches and picnic tables.
Venture outside the fence and there’s a lovely green space with benches and spots to lie in the grass.
