Favourite Parks

(Updated July 2020)
These are in no particular order, and I reserve the right to change my mind at any time!
There are lots of parks that we like, but these ones stick out for us.
*This started as a Top Ten and I couldn’t stop!

parc Multisports in Saint-Jérôme, Québec

It’s brand new, it’s totally unique, and it’s the ultimate destination park.
If you like parks that are totally different from the norm, this is the park for you. Parkour, trampolines, splash pad…It’s amazing.
There are a ton of pictures in the photo gallery, you should look at them all!

Lalancette Park in Mercier–Hochelaga-Maisonneuve

We loved this park because of its amazing splash pad, and then they went in and added a new playground and outdoor fitness equipment! Awesome.

Lucie-Bruneau Park in Anjou

Another new park that has some cool equipment that is great for both toddlers and older kids. You’ll also find a ton of other amenities here including a running track, dog park, fitness equipment, pool and more.

Jeanne Mance Park in Le Plateau-Mont-Royal

Brand new with a TON of interesting playground equipment that’s great for big kids and toddlers. A working water table, creative climbers, rope obstacle course, and right next door is a wading pool.

Centre de la Nature in Laval

This place is amazing. From the gardens to the farm, the lake and the playgrounds! Plan to spend the day here as there is also a huge splash pad.

Meades Park in Kirkland

A new-in-2020 playground that is fully inclusive with sensory panels; a wheelchair-accessible rocker, play structure, and spinner; music, trampoline, a raised sand table, and a splash pad!

Pierre Elliott Trudeau Park in Côte Saint-Luc

This brand new funky and cool playground is great for toddlers AND older kids. Play in the nearby splash pad, walk through the impressive sculpture garden, or rent a pedal boat!

Saint-Paul-de-la-Croix Park in Ahuntsic-Cartierville

A brand new splash pad, wading pool, and chalet are just some of the highlights at this park. There’s even a section (pictured above) geared towards 13+!

Parc du Bassin-à-Gravier in Le Sud Ouest (Griffintown)

New, with an industrial modern design and an amazing view of downtown Montreal. Plus a splash pad!

Philippe-Laheurte Park (parts ONE & TWO!) in Saint-Laurent

An impressive splash pad and not one, but TWO reallllllllly great playgrounds for both little and big kids. If you’re looking for some unique play equipment, you’ll find it here. This is one of the few parks that revisit over and over again.

Francis-Xavier-Fontaine Park in Sainte-Catherine

A beautiful and fully inclusive playground that features a rocking boat, spinners, wheelchair accessible play structures, and trampolines!

des Éclusiers Park in Beauharnois

This is a small neighbourhood park, that is just SO well done with some really interesting equipment and a music theme that runs throughout.

Jean-Marie-Lamonde Park in Villeray–Saint-Michel–Parc-Extension

‘Cause it’s Just. So. Cute. From the amazing splash pad to the bright red tables and the toddler zone and the gnomes! Brilliant design.

Nathan Shuster Park in Côte Saint-Luc

Newly renovated with a real zipline, forest-themed equipment and a rope obstacle course. Really unique and interesting.
This park has a permanent spot in our favourites, and after over 800 playgrounds, is still in my 10-year old’s TOP THREE.

Morgan Park in Mercier–Hochelaga-Maisonneuve

Built in 2015 with great playgrounds for both big kids and toddlers, an outdoor gym for adults, and a FANTASTIC and unique splash pad. A stream? Oh ya!

Joyeux-Vikings Park in Ville-Marie

New in 2020 this park has an immense 14-foot slide, a cool splash pad, and tons to climb for little ones.

Saint-Damase Park in Villeray–Saint-Michel–Parc-Extension

This park is almost perfection. Bring the big and little kids, because you’re all going to have a blast.

Jean-Boyer Park in Châteauguay

It’s new, it’s pretty, and it has great play areas for kids of all ages. Bonus: cool chairs to sit in!

Saint-Jacques Park in Ville-Marie

So weird and wonderful! Kids will be perplexed, and then amused by the modern play structures. Don’t forget the bathing suits and towels as there is a small splash pad to cool off in.

des Éperviers Park in NDIP

The city went all out in creating a park for everyone. A spot for teens, outdoor exercise stations, tennis, basketball, splash pad, great play equipment and more.

Montcalm Park in Sainte-Catherine

What a beauty. We all LOVED this new playground with its large play structures, cool rock and rope obstacle course, and outdoor fitness circuit. Only thing missing? A splash pad.

Olympique Park in Pincourt

The giant tower will challenge big kids, while toddlers have a brand new section for themselves. Also, a beautiful splash pad, tons of place to run around, a skate park, and a huge outdoor shelter.

Bernini Park in Brossard

I LOVE themed parks. It’s so fun watching their imaginations go wild. This park is pretty, it’s new, and it’s totally creative.
Pirates!

Dr Bernard Paquet in Saint-Laurent

Another brand new playground on the list. This large park has all new playground equipment including the Expression parent-child swing, bee “hives”, and some crazy-cool slides. With everything close together, it’s a great park if you have kids of different ages. After you play walk along the paths and wave hi to the ducks in the picturesque pond.

Delpha-Sauvé Park in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield

Delpha-Sauvé stands out because of its beautiful waterfront setting in an immense park, and also because it has one of the only play structures which is truly wheelchair-accessible. There’s also an amazing-looking outdoor aquatic centre and splash pad.

Champdoré Park in Villeray–Saint-Michel–Parc-Extension

Loved this new park with its metal climbing tree, and play areas for kids of all ages, including those 0-2!

Émilie-Gamelin Park in La Prairie

An impressive splash pad, fun space-themed playgrounds, and lots of room to run around.

Saint-Joseph-Artisan Park in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield

This is a totally interesting and FUN inclusive playground with some products that we haven’t seen anywhere else.
It’s awesome.

Dalmany Park in LaSalle

Such a great for toddlers! This park has been all redone and has a cute splash pad, lots to explore for little ones, and the coolest painted surface games we’ve seen.

de la Confédération Park in Côte-des-Neiges–Notre-Dame-de-Grâce

The toddler section of this park was completely redone in 2018 and is now an inclusive playground with some AMAZING and original equipment. Super fun and for ALL kids.

Heights Park in Beaconsfield

This is one of the few inclusive parks in Montreal. On a rubber base, almost all of the equipment is accessible, including the tandem swing, raised sand table, toddler play structure, and the inclusive spinner.
