parc Jean-J.-et-Marc-Thibodeau

A very early morning trip to….actually I can’t even remember what we were doing down this way, but we made a quick pit stop at this playground before continuing on with what must have been a very important mission.
This park island is surrounded by GORGEOUS homes, and has some greenspace as well as the small playground.

There’s no fencing, and despite the early time, there were quite a few cars zipping by on all sides. Thankfully the play area is set back a bit from the road.
The play structure is a decent size, but a bit dated and needs some TLC. A fresh coat of paint would give it some new life. My little guy could climb the (steep) stairs, go through the crawl tunnels, and try out the various slides. There are also different kinds of ladders and rungs that should challenge older kids. In the surrounding sand is a sand shovel, as well as a couple of spring riders including a car which got some squeals of delight.
The two baby and two big kid swings are in their own little sand area.

I like how TMR gives the history of the park names on their signs, despite this one having an extraneous word.
