Claude-Robillard Park

I’m pretty sure we were the first visitors to this playground since….oh….1984. OK, OK, maybe 1985.

There is an old school, groaning metal merry-go-round, and a strange carrousel of baby swings. Kinda awesome in their vintage feel. Not so awesome is the amount of rust.
There is also an abandoned looking big-kid climber off by itself; a toddler climber with stairs just up to the tic-tac-toe wall, monkey bars, a perilous bridge, and a filthy tunnel, and lots of broken parts. The rest of the park equipment is a sand digger, big-kid swings, and then bizarrely, a newish spiderweb rope climber (again off by itself).

So weird! All in all, a pretty gross park. And we usually like ALL parks.

We were of course the only ones here except for the couple making out, who we rudely interrupted. Obviously it’s usually pretty quiet…

p.s. Enter from Rue Grenier. The playground is completely hidden from the road so just follow the path.
