Pierre-Elliot Trudeau Park

We made it here just before it rained cats and dogs, so we didn’t play a whole lot, but managed to check out all the equipment.

There are two itty-bitty climbers, set in different sections. The first one by GameTime has stairs, the Giant Wave Climber (or a really bumpy slide!), a normal slide, and the Objects turning Panel. The second has a stairs, a corkscrew ladder, metal rungs and a double slide. Nothing too exciting, but ok for a small neighbourhood park.

There is also a motorcycle spring rider, a ground-level Interactive Counting Panel, one baby (one was broken) and two big swings. Everything is set on sand with a small greenspace to the north.
We read the memorial plaques by the trees and looked at the tennis courts across the street and then dashed for the car as the sky opened up.
It’s an OK neighbourhood park, but I wouldn’t drive here on purpose.

EDITED: Pierrefonds did a mini revamp of this park in the summer of 2015 so we came back to check it out. The climbers are the same but to the large one they added a Boogie Board (kind of like a hammock/swing) from Landscape Structures, and in the same sand area is a 3-dimensional Starburst metal climber. The more “toddler” section stayed the same. There are also freshly paved paths and some new benches.
