Saint-Aloysius Park

This park was redone quite a bit back in 2011 and still looks quite new and shiny.

Play equipment in both the toddler and big kid area were redone, paths and borders were fixed, the older wading pool had a spray feature added, and outdoor fitness equipment for adults was installed.

The toddler section is quite cute with a nice ground-level playhouse, baby swings, and an play structure with lots to touch and explore. Stairs or ladders will get you up to the different slides, and check out the treasure hunt panel to find images around the park.

Down some steps is a rock climber with slide. It’s all fenced along the road, but open to the rest of the park.

Toddle along the path to the other side of the park and the big kid area has a large play structure with interesting climbers and slides, rope to cross, and monkey bars. In the wood chips are adult swings and a bowl spinner.

Things to note:
-You can find the schedule for the wading pool HERE. It closes for the season near the end of August.
-Street parking is the usual nightmare.
-There’s some shade over the toddler area.
-The toddler section is on sand, while the area for big kids is wood chips.
-Nothing is wheelchair accessible.
