Saint Robert Park

We weren’t planning on coming to this park, and would have totally driven past it as it didn’t appear on Google Maps, but while searching for something else we took a wrong turn and ended up pulling into the (giant) parking lot beside the playground.

“PARK!”

The play structure was pretty intense with a high rope bridge, a talllllllll twirly slide, lots of ladders and rungs, and a climbing wall. But the little guy looked around and said “Where is the little kid pawk?”
He was able to get up the three-rung ladder, but balked at coming down the enclosed slide.

So, he sat at the nearby picnic table and blew bubbles while his dad and big brother hung out at the top of the climber.
There IS one baby swing, but that’s it for itty-bitty kids.
Nearby is a hill used for winter sledding, and there are a couple of huge soccer/football fields. While it was all empty when we were there, on our way past a couple of hours later the place was PACKED with soccer players.
Beside the parking lot are a couple of porta potties, and drive to the other corner of the lot and there’s a BMX bike riding trail. Cool!
