Sauvé Park

Maybe because it was super early in the season, but this park could use a little TLC. There are some good parts, like the tennis courts, baseball field, and the new outdoor exercise stations (really nice), but then all the paths are chewed up, there were piles of mud everywhere, broken tables, and some run through fencing.

The playground is older, but has a nice play structure with ladders, a climbing wall, and monkey bars. Toddlers will find it impossible to access anything as there are no stairs or easy way up.
The rest of the playground (which is quite spread out) has older seesaws; adult swings; and baby swings, which are pretty much the only play things for smaller kids. Too bad, because there’s plenty of room here for more equipment.

There are benches and picnic tables around the playground and under the mature trees, and nearby is the new and pretty Energi fitness equipment.

Things to note:
-There is no fencing around the play areas or near the road.
-This park also has: a wading pool, tennis courts, baseball, pétanque, winter skating, and treed greenspaces.
-You can find info for the wading pool hours HERE. Entrance is free.
-The nearby building houses the Centre d’activités communautaires Sauvé, where you’ll find bathrooms inside though I didn’t check the opening hours. Sorry!
-Easy parking in the lot on Rue de Bayonne. (near the wading pool)
