Sir-Edmund-Hillary Park

This is a nice little park, that was quite cozy. Fully fenced and gated, it’s small enough that you can sit on one of the lovely wrought iron benches and sip a cool drink while the littles wander around.
We visited on a brilliantly sunny day, and were relieved to find some great shade over most of the playground. This also made for some dark pictures. Sorry!
There are a couple of ground-level panels for itty-bitty kids including the maze panel and the brown and white roller wall to turn and make a pattern. I’d like to take credit for the awesome “person” drawing in the photo above, but it was already there when we arrived 😉

There rest of the Landscape Structures equipment includes a cute dinosaur spring rider (it may or may not be a…stegosaurus?), an easy-to-get-on see-saw, and a small play structure. With stairs!
Small kids can climb the stairs to the mini slides, or keep going up a few more steps to the higher slide. There are also a few ladders for older kids to climb. A couple of baby and adult swings and there ya go!
