Stéphanie Park (Fabreville)

This park was alright, it just seemed like it should be really good
It has the space, it seems like it’s been redone lately, but it feels like a missed opportunity to create an inclusive playground, or something crazy cool.

Anyhoo. What’s here is a lot of room to run around, a lot of sand, and a complete lack of shade. You’ll find different play structures, so there are choices for slides, and crawl tunnels, and ladders; there are big and baby swings, some spring riders, and a tall cable climber. The toddler play structure doesn’t have stairs, but there is a ground-level crawl tube and steering wheel.

Honestly, it’s not all that interesting for big OR little kids.

Things to note:
-There’s no shade or fencing.
-Everything is on sand.
-A porta-potty is available in summer over by the soccer field. Follow the path.
-The nature preserve behind has some really interesting birds!
