Taywood Park

This park was a pleasant surprise.
On a cul-de-sac, there’s not much traffic, which is good since there is no fencing and the swings are quite near the road.

The toddler climber (an older model from Landscape Structures) is easily accessible for short legs with wide staircase/platforms, a tunnel, tunnel slide, Cozy Climber arched ladder, steering wheel, and a ground-level marble maze panel

In the same area are a couple of spring riders, an old-school metal climber, and a sand digger. And a sand box, which is redundant as the whole playground is on sand….

Just beside is the fairly new climber from Jambette with a myriad of ways to get up. And best of all, stairs!
There are also some toadstools, metal rungs, a rope bridge that I bravely crossed (!), a “normal” bridge to access the high slide, tic-tac-toe wall at ground level and a plastic rock-climbing wall.
The little one had a good time here despite it being for the bigger kids.

New in the fall of 2018 are shiny new adult and a baby swing, a cool raft swing, a multigenerational, and an adaptive swing! Unfortunately the adaptive swing is on sand.

Things to note:
-Everything is on sand.
-There is no fencing.
