Terry Fox Park

Ah, the infamous Dollard “Kiddy Korral”. Bwahaha. Every time I see the gateway I crack up. But I digress…..

Anyhoo, we had a heck of a time figuring out where to park to access the playground. This was our second try at this park, the first time I had a toddler about to melt down, and with no parking signs on all the streets we went down, we gave up and went to Tim Horton’s instead 🙂
So, on round 2 we drove arounnnnnnnd the park to Rue Howard and parked at the dead end which was right beside the playground.

The playground is partially fenced and all on a sand base. The climber from Landscape Structures is almost totally toddler friendly, with stairs, the Pilot Panel with steering wheels, slide, a wire tunnel, BUT it has one of those hard to get down and up bridges that I loathe.
There is a stand alone twirly slide with stairs, baby and big swings and a few seesaws.

We had a poop-mergency when we were here, and thank goodness for Dollard and their almost always open chalets, because it was going to be a long drive home!

When you’re done playing here, head down the path to the West to Evergreen park for the 2-for-1 deal!
