Toussaint-Louverture Park

Close to the Quartier latin and in the middle of les habitations Jeanne-Mance, Toussaint-Louverture Park is home to many recreational spaces including a playground, splash pad, soccer fields, basketball and pétanque, ping pong tables, and a TrekFit outdoor gym with four different stations.

While the park as a whole is nice, the playground is fairly uninspired. The fenced and gated area has a small play structure for toddlers, baby and adult swings, and an x-wave wiggly balance beam. There’s not a whole lot to do in this small space, especially for older kids.
Nearby you’ll find the TrekFit gym (which I forgot to take pictures of, so you can find some HERE.)

Close to the playground is the wheelchair-accessible chalet with washrooms, the new artificial turf soccer field, and pétanque. Make sure to check out the mural “Entre ciel et terre”, which was created with neighbourhood children, on the back of the chalet.

Past the basketball courts, the splash pad is out of sight of the playground, and quite off on its own behind the Corporation des habitations Jeanne-Mance building.
There’s no fencing, so be aware that a parking lot is right nearby.

Things to note:
-I cannot find the hours of operation for Ville Marie’s splash pads anywhere. They are usually on from 9am-9pm in other boroughs…
-Info for the splash pads can be found HERE. Except for hours.
-Parking is tricky, I found street parking on Rue Ontario, then walked past the splash pad and through the basketball courts to the playground.
