I only knew this park existed because of Google Maps, for some reason Ile Bizard’s city website only lists six parks. Strrrrrange. It’s a Conspiracy!
Probably not.
So while Google was definitely telling there was a park we couldn’t see ANYTHING. After circling Rue Closse a couple of times, we finally parked on the street and walked up through one of the residents’ parking lots and….TADA!
A really nice municipal playground right in the centre of the block, and basically the in the backyards of the surrounding townhouses. But yes, you’re allowed to be here!
There is a nice play structure by Miracle Recreation that has the big Kahuna Fish walkway and is a toddler and big-kid climber in one. The little side has stairs, a bumpy slide/climber Tot Rock Climber, and a small slide. Cross over the fish’s “back” and you’ll get to the higher side with a slide. You can also access this part by a vertical climbing wall, a metal ladder, and a foot/hand hold ladder. One thing I’d never noticed before on this model is that underneath the fish are monkey bar hand rails!
There is also the Pokey The Snail spring rider, and a couple of baby and big swings. There are two benches, but no picnic table. Would be nice to have a table here for residents who don’t have an exterior eating spot.
No fencing at all and it IS right beside a couple of parking lots so be wary. There wasn’t any shade over the climber but was lots around the edges of the sand area.
