Square Boréal

This small park in front of stately (giant) townhomes seems primarily for toddlers, though that’s not to stop older kids and families from enjoying the multiple picnic tables and benches, as well as playing around in the sand or using the balance toys.

With just two baby swings, and the two bouncy products from Ludoparc, there’s not a whole lot to do, but there are quite a few little neighbourhood parks in the area, with the fantastic Bois Franc Park just blocks away. We’ve been by Square Boréal twice, and there have always been sand toys scattered about, and someone even brought over their doll house once!
Set down from the road, the park is nicely landscaped with stone steps, a stone wheelcair ramp, trees and shrubs. Those trees are small though, so there’s minimal shade over the play area.

Partially fenced on three sides but with open gates, there’s also a small grass area; perfect for kicking around a ball after dinner.
