Step 1: Ask your father to cut down a cedar tree on his farm and make you some planks
Step 2: Say thank-you
Step 3: Soak the plank in water for a while (say….20 minutes)
Step 4: Get a nice piece of trout or salmon. Sprinkle with a little salt and pepper
Step 5: Grab a handful of fresh sage and rosemary from the garden and cover the fish
Step 6: Put the plank with fish on the preheated BBQ and cook for 20 minutes or so.
Optional Step 7: Open your windows so that your house smells like you’re sitting lakeside and cooking over an open firepit.
