We found this park while wandering around Vaudreuil-Dorion (the big brother was at a birthday party) and exploring both the area and all the new-to-us parks.
This playground has two nice climbers, big and baby swings and a creative dragon teeter-totter.
We mostly stuck to the toddler climber by Jambette as it has easy to access stairs, nice platforms to walk around, a mini climbing wall, double steering wheels at ground level, a window through which to peer at your mom (“See Mama!!!!”), and slides. It’s new-ish and clean and bright.
The big-kid climber from GO-ELAN is high and has no stairs. I went up by myself but did NOT attempt to put the little guy up, because I knew from painful experience I would have to shove him by the bum up the steep orange tunnel to get to the next level. And then we’d both get stuck.
There’s a lower level with two tic-tac-toe walls and a small double slide, but the only way up is the Rocky Mountain wall or metal rungs. The two-year old didn’t find either way up enjoyable, but I’m sure his older brother would love it.
At the top level are two nice steep slides.
There is no fencing but it’s set back from the not very busy road, and there is a bit of green space around the sand area. There are a few trees but they are not directly over the play areas so I think it would be quite sunny.
It would be nice to have some landscaping or a bit of visual interest as it’s all very…flat and kind of bland. BUT, having it flat and very open also makes it easy to watch kids in both climbers. I’m just being nitpicky!
