EDITED August 2016: This park is getting partially redone. We’ll revisit towards the end of the summer 2016 to see what’s been changed. Stay tuned!
Original post below:
Both kiddos with me this evening.
One enjoyed this park, one did not.
I think the older one was more annoyed with me than with the park. Why? Because I wouldn’t let him have a popsicle on top of the cookie and rice krispie treat he’d already had after school.
Because I’m Mean.
On to the playground!
We parked the car on Glamis and walked up the short path to a really nice and big greenspace. If I lived on this street I’d totally have a block party here!
On the other side of the path is the small playground. The older one said “Awwww, there’s only a baby climber.” and proceeded to grump around for the remainder of the time.
The climber wasn’t huge, but just geared more to toddlers. There is a staircase, slides, monkey bars, and a tic-tac-toe wall. Not amazing, but decent for a neighbourhood park.
There’s a stand-alone realllllly long monkey bar, big and baby swings, and two different teeter-totters, which my guys liked best of everything.
