We thought we’d covered all the parks in this area, until I printed out Dollard’s master list and went “What? We didn’t cover all the parks in this area?!”
We were wandering around killing time before Costco opened (10am? Really? The day is half over!) and scooted over to this little park.
It is tiny, there is no play structure, but there ARE a whole lot of swings! “More baby swings! We need MORE baby swings!”
There are 4 baby and 4 big kid swings, a cute toddler-sized stand alone slide with stairs, and three great ride-ons.
The toddler was pretty pleased with this park, especially after having been cooped up indoors the day before, and happily sat on the motorcycle (his favourite), the firetruck, and the pelican/toucan/bird thing.
We did a lot of sitting here. Sitting on the swings. Sitting on the ride-ons. Sitting on the slide. And then he pointed me to the bench to sit because I was “TOO BIG!” for the slide. I wasn’t. I swear!
There is no fencing and everything, especially the ride-ons are SUPER close to the road. Like about 10 feet from the road. Not the place to play if you have kids who need leashes.
I’ll probably never come back here, but if I lived in the area, it makes a nice “after dinner” park.
Oh ya. We never made it into Costco. Took one look at the parking lot where people were already yelling at 10:30am and booted back home. I didn’t need a veggie tray that badly!
