This was a decent neighbourhood park that reminded me of a campground. I think it was the shrubbery around and the way they cut the grass. Reminded me of Voyageur Park in Ontario.
We played on both the small and large climbers. Everything is a bit faded and/or rusty and there’s not much shade over the play equipment, but the kids didn’t care.
The larger climber has no stairs so the little guy just played on the smaller one. There are however metal ladders and rungs, monkey bars and a twirly slide. In the surrounding sand are four baby and four big swings, a ride-on whale from Little Tikes and a rope spinner from Berliner. The toddler structure does have stairs, though they’re very steep. There’s also a steering wheel, mesh tunnel, chair ladder, and slides. Nothing too exciting, but you know, ok.
There is a teensy little parking lot that would hold about 4 cars. No fencing around the playground but it’s at the end of a cul-de-sac.
p.s. This park looks huge but we only visited the playground at the end of Desrosiers. We’ll have to go back soon to follow the trail through the woods and see what else there is! Note that this park has another playground section, also called Duval Park! You can read that review HERE.
