Placette des Équinoxes (du Solstice)

After a wander around Bois Franc we found ourselves in front of this very European-styled courtyard park.
The small playground is in the middle of the surrounding townhouses would be a nice after-dinner playground, and must be great for the neighbourhood kids.

There are two climbers; a small one for toddlers, and a Miracle Recreation steel and rope structure with a rock-climbing wall.
The smaller climber is the first “Stanley” model we’ve seen by Ludoparc, and in a partnership with Plastic Omnium is actually 100% recyclable and fabricated with “vegetated plastic”.
It’s geared towards children from 2-8 and has stairs with adorable movable flowers, a metal slide, a slanted climbing wall (with smiley faces!), and another little ramp.

In the rest of the sand area are four big and four baby swings, there are benches and a picnic table, and even a drinking fountain. There is some fencing, but it’s pretty much open to the road, and there is zero shade.
A ramp leads down to a small greenspace.

It’s all very tidy and pretty.
