This is a very small, simple, neighbourhood park that must be good for the kids living on this circle. We originally visited last year, and I knew it was getting partially redone in 2016, so we took a chance….and it’s finished!
Not a huge change, but they did replace the old twirly slide with a whole new toddler play structure by GameTime, and added plastic borders around the sand. The toddler climber is small, but shiny and colourful. DDO has been redoing a few play structures around the city, and it’s always a variation on this particular one, so it wasn’t super exciting for us. But for an after dinner park for little ones, they’ll probably enjoy it. There are super easy to climb stairs, a small double slide, metal rungs, and bench underneath, a slanted wall to climb, and a horizontal bar to flip around.
The rest of the playground has baby and big swings, an older metal-rung climber, and some benches. No fencing and everything is super close to the road.
