This little park was a pleasant surprise.
After the hell of finding street parking nearby, we trotted across the road and found a park that had:
-fences AND a gate
-a wheelchair accessible porta-potty
-play structures for tiny kids, older toddlers, and big-kids
-and a little paved bike track
The play structure for older kids has plenty of ways to slide, swing and climb. While it’s a little dated, it’s still in good shape.
The new toddler equipment from Game Time is super cute, and has leaves to climb, stairs to the mini slides, and interesting wavy climbers. There are also two baby and two big swings, a ride-on dinosaur, and a mini picnic table.
For grown ups there’s an adult-sized picnic table too 😉
This would also be a good spot for new bike riders as they can learn in a safe spot, and try out their skills on the little paved hills.
Just steps from the water and the walking/biking trails that follow the river, you could make this a pit stop on a walk, and also visit some of the other parks along the water like the VERY COOL Quai-de-la-Tortue Park with its electronic playground and umbrella-themed splash pad.
