On our way home from Quinn Farm the other week, we took the long way all around the island and found this little park tucked in between some new houses.
Backing onto one of the entrances of Les skieurs de l’Île, with some nice (but hard to walk on) trails, the park is set VERY close to the road and has two play structures, as well as baby and big-kid swings.
Both climbers are on sand and are within easy sight of each other.
My little guy was just in between being too big for the toddler climber, and too small for the big climber. So we tried out both with some success, though he was much more interested in the tree-themed big structure from Miracle Recreation; there is a upside down slide shaped like a log with forest critters, a big slide, the steep Fossil Bluff Climber rock wall, a moveable waffle wall, and monkey bars and sky wheels. But, there was just no way for him to get up safely. I climbed up and saw the cute treasure map, pretend lanterns and canteens on the top platform, and slid back down to him.
There was one small level he could get to but then nothing he could reach.
Luckily, just steps away is the toddler climber that has safe stairs, a bumpy slide/climbing wall, and small slides. Not super exciting, but easy to manage for the youngest kids.
There are benches and a picnic table, and even a drinking fountain.
After playing for a bit we ventured to the ski/walking trails. It is very hard to walk as there are tons of roots and rocks, but it was quiet and peaceful.
