Paul-Ouellette Park

The new park that should be inclusive but isn’t. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a lovely and cute teeny-tiny park, but with all new equipment, it’s a shame that’s it’s all on UN-accessible sand .

The small GameTime play structure has nice wide stairs, a little climber, a double slide, and a ladder. Nearby is the fun Sensory Spinner seat, a couple of bongos, and the rest of the equipment is a baby swing, an adult swing, and an adaptive swing for those needing more support.

Things to note:
-There’s some shade.
-It’s all on sand.
-There’s no fencing.
-Street parking is right around the park, don’t go on people’s grass.

If you are looking for an accessible park, Taillon Park down the road has just been redone and is on wood chip surfacing or there’s the really nice du Suroît Park which is about 3 minutes away.
