A lovely stroll after visiting the nearby Jason Park or one of the other Candiac parks that I will post soon!
Park in the small lot right on chemin Saint-François-Xavier, and a huge map and rules are posted for you to peruse. The packed gravel paths and wooden boardwalks are for pedestrians only, and dogs and bikes are not allowed. Strollers should be able to handle the flat terrain.
There’s one trail that leads along the river, with a couple of lookouts, and benches for stopping to admire the wildlife.
If you have your own kayaks, canoes, or SUPs, there are a couple of launch sites with car or bicycle parking.
