This park is at the western edge of Montréal-Est’s border with Mercier-Hochelaga-Maisonneuve, and just before a large industrial section.
This was a pretty cute park, with two play areas, and a great little splash pad from Vortex.
There are age-appropriate Kompan play structures including a large climber for older kids; and one with stairs, little slide, mini climbing wall, and rope ladders for toddlers. Both play areas also have big and baby swings.
Things to Note:
-There is a small lot just west of the playground, near the splash pad entrance.
-The park is fully fenced around its entirety, but there are no gates.
-The splash pad is also fully fenced, but no gate.
-The toddler area will be in full sun.
-The chalet with washrooms was open when we were there mid-June on a weekday.
-There are benches and picnic tables throughout the park, as well as a covered area under a gazebo.
We (I) was pleasantly surprised at the super informative sign at the splash pad entrance. With hours of operation, how the water sequences, and hot to turn it on, you don’t have to stand there going “Should it be on now? And HOW do I turn it on??”
Brilliant! Also, SO easy. Why can’t every splash pad have something similar?
