des Tourterelles Park

This is a sweet little neighbourhood park on a quiet street in NDIP.
There are a few extras here we don’t usually see at smaller parks, including an adaptive swing, and a drinking fountain. There’s also a nice greenspace for after-dinner tag, trees for hide-and-seek, picnic tables for “dinner out”, and different play areas (on wood chips). Kids can scale the triple sided Infinity climber, climb up and slide down the play structure, use the sand digger, or swing from the adult or baby swings.
The play structure doesn’t have stairs, but little ones might be able to get up the two-run metal ladder. Older kids can swing from the monkey bars, or use the funky slanted climbing wall.
All the equipment are in their own (raised) areas, and a little spread out, but it’s also near the back of the park, so you don’t have to worry too much about them running off to the road.
We visited this park a while back in early spring, and though there wasn’t much shade then as the trees were just beginning to bud, there are many mature trees around the park which will give some relief on hot summer days.
