A simple and quiet park, actually so quiet I’ve never seen anyone there whenever we’ve driven by. A fully-fenced and gated toddler park on sand, and a minimal big-kid park (swings and a spider web rope climber only, NO play structure) on cedar chip base.
The toddler section has a climber with stairs, a little metal ladder, and slides; and it quite nicely shaded. There are also two baby and two big swings.
Nice picnic tables and benches, and a lot of them for the size of the park. Small greenspace/field but close to the road on all sides.
Emergency water/coffee is within walking distance on Hymus. Why hellllllo Tim Horton’s Ice Cap Supreme!
Note: My 6-year old said of the swings in the toddler park: “These swings hurt my bum!”
Me too, me too.
We drive by this park often, and the big one never wants to stop at it, because there’s not that much for him. 🙁
