This park recently underwent a big facelift, with addition of new play structures and a splash pad. You can read about the changes HERE.
The toddler play structure is ADORABLE, with stairs, a bridge, pods to cross, gears to turn, and an awesome construction-style activity wall at ground-level. Lots to see and explore. In the sand are the old baby swings (which could use some tlc), and a low seesaw.
Just across the path is the new big-kid area with a modern and unique style structure. There are ropes, walls to climb, a slide, rope bridge, steps, and a an alligator in the “water”! Different from the usual ladder, platform, slide combo. There are also adult swings nearby.
New in 2018 is the Waterplay splash pad! There are a couple of tipping buckets, lots of pretty ground jets, a water cannon, and giant misting blades of grass.
Things to note:
-The splash pad is on from 9am-9pm. Press the sensor to turn on the water sequence.
-There is no fencing.
-The playgrounds are on sand.
